Enhancing Digital Innovation (Web 4.0) and Attractiveness of VET Through Extended Reality (VR/AR) Training for Better Skillsmatch
- Project Description
The XRinVET proposal is driven by the active participation of six partner organizations across Europe, each contributing unique expertise in Vocational Education and Training (VET), labor market integration, and research and development. This collaboration addresses the urgent need for digital transformation in VET, aligning with key EU initiatives like the Skills Agenda and the Digital Education Action Plan. The project emphasizes the integration of emerging technologies, particularly extended reality (XR), to enhance digital readiness, improve training methods, and better prepare students for the labor market. By simulating real-life scenarios through VR, the project aims to equip students with practical, job-specific skills in a safe and controlled environment. This transnational effort involves partners from Greece, Cyprus, Spain, and Belgium, working together to create sustainable, innovative training solutions that can be widely adopted and have a systemic impact across the EU.
